This Privacy Policy explains how Doers ("Doers", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit www.wedoers.com (the "Website") or use our software products, web applications and mobile apps (together, the "Services").
01Who we are
Doers is a software house that builds and operates business software — including DoCare, DoEat, DoRetail and custom systems — for organisations around the world. For the Website and for our direct relationships with clients and prospects, Doers is responsible for your personal information. You can reach us at hello@wedoers.com.
02Information we collect on the Website
- Information you send us. When you email us or otherwise get in touch, we receive your name, email address, company details and anything you choose to include in your message.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our servers automatically log basic request data — IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page and the date and time of each request — to keep the Website secure and running.
- No cookies or tracking. The Website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tools. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when you visit.
03Information in our products and apps
Our products are used by businesses — hospitals, clinics, restaurants, retailers and others — to run their operations. When you use one of our Services, we may process:
- Account information such as your name, email address, phone number, role and login credentials.
- Content you or your organisation enter, such as orders, appointments, inventory, invoices, patient or customer records, and other operational data.
- Device and usage information such as device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash logs and how features are used, which we use to support and improve the Services.
- Permissions you grant. Some apps may ask for access to features such as your camera (for example, to scan barcodes), location or notifications. We only use them for the feature you are using, and you can withdraw access at any time in your device settings.
Where we provide a Service to a business client, that client decides what personal information is collected and how it is used, and we process it on their behalf and under their instructions. If you use a Service through your employer or another organisation, their privacy policy also applies, and requests about that information are best directed to them first.
04How we use information
- To provide, operate, maintain and support the Services.
- To respond to enquiries and prepare proposals.
- To manage client relationships, contracts, billing and communications.
- To keep the Website and Services secure and to prevent fraud and misuse.
- To diagnose problems and improve the Services.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Where data protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on performing a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent where we ask for it.
05How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the Services — such as cloud hosting, email and communications providers — under contracts that require them to protect it.
- With the business client on whose behalf we process it.
- When required by law, regulation, legal process or a valid request from authorities.
- To protect the rights, property or safety of Doers, our clients or others.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case the information remains subject to this policy.
06How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here, for as long as our agreement with the relevant client requires, or as required by law. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
07Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if we become aware of a breach.
08Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email hello@wedoers.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
09Account and data deletion
You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time by emailing hello@wedoers.com from the email address linked to your account, with the name of the app or Service you use. Where your account is managed by an organisation, we will work with them to complete the request. Some information may be kept where we are legally required to retain it — for example, financial records — and is deleted once that obligation ends.
10Children's privacy
The Website and Services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11International transfers
We serve clients worldwide, so personal information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer information across borders, we take steps to make sure it remains protected as described in this policy.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
